12th Blue Flag for Marche, but 15th for Gabicce: 2008 seems to bring luck to this joyfully, wonderfull town of Marche!The Blue Flag is an exclusive eco-label awarded to over 3300 beaches and marinas in different countries across the World.

It works towards sustainable development at beaches/marinas through strict criteria dealing with water quality, environmental education and information, environmental management, and safety and other services.
For the standards of the FEE, there are two different Blu Flag awards:

• Water quality;
• Environmental manegement & safety and services.

And Gabicce no less!

Thanks, certainly, to the commitment of the municipal administration, the town is in full, explosive growth, but also of a careful care of the environment.
In fact, recently, in its shallow has been noted the rebirth of some plants Marine: the zostera Marina and the cymodocea nodosa: naturalistic heritage of great value, both biological and “physical” of the sea, as an indices of good health of the water!
